Intertown Soccer Fall 2018

Intertown Soccer is a more relaxed alternative to Travel Soccer. Please register by Monday, August 13th so that we can plan for the season. After that date, we can not guarantee your child a spot on a team.

Contact the volunteer Intertown coordinator with any questions: jessicadaygriffin@gmail.com

GOALS:
Provide a fun, recreational experience.
Give each player equal playing time in games.
Reward effort and improvement.
Promote friendships with teammates.
Develop soccer skills and strategies.

AGE GROUPS:
Our teams are mixed grade in the following divisions-
1. Junior Intertown Boys and Girls - 4th-6th
2. Senior Intertown Boys and Girls*- 7th-9th
3. Girls Rec Plus (7th-12th)

*We are unlikely to have enough girls in Senior Intertown to form a team for Fall 2018. If you have a 7th-9th grade girl, she is welcome to play with our Rec Plus team (Wave Runners) which will be mostly 9th and 10th graders. Contact Jessica Griffin with questions.

TENTATIVE Practice dates and times:
These will be tentative until the school district assigns fields to our program.
Name TBD (Junior Boys) - Friday 4:30-6:00.
Shooting Stars (Junior Girls) - Friday 6:00-7:30.
Chelsea (Senior Boys) - Thursday 6:00-7:30.

PROGRAM:
1. One 90 minute practice per week, run by a professional trainer.
2. Approximately 7 weekend games against teams from other towns.
